Pre Trip Musings
My wife and I started this blog as a way to keep our friends and family (and anyone else out there in the world wide web) informed about our first trip to the East coast. Let me bring you up to speed: my wife, McKinsey, applied for a cancer genetics and bioethics fellowship at Georgetown University. It was a national fellowship so we weren't really expecting McKinsey to get it, but, lo and behold, she nailed it. So now we're packing up and heading out to DC from June 2 to August 10. We'll use this blog to show pictures of our travels (lots of architectural ones from me) and to give you some East coast commentary from a couple of Midwestern farm kids. Only 10 days until we head out there. Let the great experiment begin!
